blowhorn risk
blowhorn risk: set, show.
The blowhorn risk commands. Each one's --help prints the same text.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
risk set |
Choose a Risk Profile: cautious, standard (the built-in default) or brisk. |
risk show |
Show the Risk Profile in effect for each platform. |
blowhorn risk set
Choose a Risk Profile: cautious, standard (the built-in default) or brisk. With no --profile it is written to .blowhorn.yaml (defaults.risk_profile, or defaults.risk_profile_by_platform with --platform). With --profile it is stored on that profile in the store (Risk Profile, or Risk Profile By Platform with --platform), so every Mac reads the same choice. --dry-run says what would change and writes nothing.
blowhorn risk set [OPTIONS] preset| Argument | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
preset |
yes | cautious, standard or brisk; default clears the choice at this scope |
| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
--json |
boolean | false |
Emit machine-readable JSON output |
--platform |
string | Platform scope for 'blowhorn risk'. One of: bluesky, hn, linkedin, reddit, slack, x, all ('all' means every platform listed here) | |
--pace |
string | Accepted by 'blowhorn risk set' because --pace is a global flag, but this command does no paced work -- it opens no browser and sleeps between nothing -- so the value changes nothing about how it runs and appears only in the Pace column of the -v summary. Resolved as CLI flag, then BLOWHORN_PACE, then defaults.pace in .blowhorn.yaml (normal when none is set); an unrecognized value is rejected before anything runs |
Also takes the shared flags: --config, --log-dir, --profile, --exclude, --headless, --chrome-launch, --headed, --dry-run, --verbose.
Examples:
blowhorn risk set cautious
blowhorn risk set brisk --profile lee --platform bluesky
blowhorn risk set standard --profile lee --dry-run
blowhorn risk set default --profile lee --platform xOutput: json with --json, text otherwise.
blowhorn risk show
Show the Risk Profile in effect for each platform: the one chosen, the source that chose it (--profile reads the profile's choice from the store, otherwise .blowhorn.yaml, BLOWHORN_RISK_PROFILE and the built-in standard) and what the preset sets. A new profile or Mac still runs cautious until it is warm, whatever is chosen.
