blowhorn star

Star GitHub repositories.

blowhorn star

Star GitHub repositories. From every selected profile, over the REST API with no browser: --platform github --repo owner/repo, repeatable. Already-starred repositories are counted apart, never re-credited. --dry-run reads each repository's star state for real and names exactly which would be starred, issuing no PUT. A live run exits 0 only when at least one repository was confirmed and every attempted repository was confirmed by at least one profile. Star cannot be scheduled: it stars only the repositories named on the command line.

output
blowhorn star [OPTIONS]
Flag Type Default Description
--ignore-risk boolean false Run this once even if your Risk Profile would hold it (a daily cap, quiet hours, outreach turned off or a pause after a sign-in challenge). Only this run; your Risk Profile stays as it is. A limit the platform itself publishes still applies
--repo string, repeatable GitHub only, repeatable: a repository as owner/name, or a github.com URL for one. At least one is required
--platform string Platform scope for blowhorn star. One of: github (any other platform, including all, is rejected)
--pace string Pace of the random delays between blowhorn star actions (page loads, typing, clicks, API calls): a preset name (fast/normal/slow) or a numeric multiplier (e.g. 0.5, 2.0). Resolved as CLI flag, then BLOWHORN_PACE, then defaults.pace in .blowhorn.yaml (normal when none is set); an unrecognized value is rejected before anything runs
--risk-profile string Risk Profile this run uses: cautious, standard or brisk. For this one run it beats the schedule's value, the profile's choice and configuration. A value after the command word wins over one before it; an unrecognized value is rejected before anything runs

Also takes the shared flags: --config, --log-dir, --profile, --exclude, --headless, --chrome-launch, --headed, --dry-run, --verbose.

Examples:

terminal
blowhorn star --platform github --profile personal --repo acme/widgets --dry-run
blowhorn star --platform github --profile personal --repo acme/widgets
blowhorn star --platform github --profile all --repo acme/widgets --repo meshery/meshery
blowhorn star --platform github --profile company, work --repo acme/widgets
blowhorn star --platform github --profile all --repo acme/widgets --exclude personal

Output: text.
