When a run looks spammy, the content is usually innocent and the shape is guilty: ten reasonable posts inside four minutes read as one script, not ten thoughts. Before rewriting anything, widen the gap between posts in the troop and vary it, so the run lands over an hour instead of a moment.
Check the combined picture too. Two troops with sensible spacing can still stack into a burst if they fire at the same time; stagger their starts by half an hour and the day reads as one person posting, which is the point.
